Case Study: What’s Yours is Mined
“Everything comes from somewhere.
Amazingly, few people understand the magnitude of this statement when it comes to natural resources. No phone, battery, plastic, or metal exists without mining and exploration.
This also means that there are huge investment opportunities in the resource space, often unknown to younger audiences.
Elements by Visual Capitalist is a new initiative we launched in the Spring of 2021, focused on bringing investment opportunities and information about the natural world to Millennials and Gen Z in particular. The site covers topics such as electrification, battery metals, gold and silver, urbanization, and investment opportunities.
The visuals depart from the old-world styles and masculine feel of traditional mining content, to create a new and fresh voice.”

CONCEPT: Elements. We broke the concepts down to the world’s fundamental building blocks: elements. We began with a periodic table, highlighting the specific materials in various items and technologies. This evolved into a more conceptual frame, as we shifted to the investment elements of the future: urbanization, battery metals, precious metals, energy, and electrification.
DELIVERABLES: Branding, web development, illustration, style guide, advertising, social media graphics, content, copywriting
