Case Study: Defining a Visual (Capitalist) Language
“2019 was a year of self-awareness for Visual Capitalist. As one of the fastest growing digital publishers in North America, growth was constant. As a startup, this also meant that the company’s corporate and marketing communication needs were growing just as quickly.
In the fall, our team began an exercise to develop the visual language for the brand. We explored cinematic themes and the new media landscape, defining objectives and drafting outlines.
In the end, we landed on a fresh illustrative language, driven—like all of our content—by data and story. We wanted to illustrate the idea of looking inside of a topic through data. The below will provide a sneak peek of the results.”
